All the way from Victoria, British Columbia, Sam has been a team member at Ability4Good since 2016. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Victoria before moving to Edmonton in 2014 to pursue a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Although missing the ocean and mountains, Sam is excited to be in Edmonton and is looking forward to building a life here.
Sam is passionate about working with children and their families on all aspects of communication and strives to help them realize their full potential. She uses (and loves!) play-based intervention techniques and has a wide range of professional interests, including social communication and pediatric feeding and swallowing. She feels incredibly fortunate to be a part of an organization that values collaboration, teamwork and family-centered practice.
When away from her work life, Sam enjoys yoga, spin, painting and traveling. She also spends as much time as she can with her friends and family.
