Sandia Abraham is a registered Speech Language Pathologist with a Master of Science degree from the University of Alberta in Speech-Language Pathology. Her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Linguistics affords her a unique perspective in assessment and intervention for children with language and communication disorders. Sandia has always had a keen interest and passion for speech and language. Over the past 12 years, she has had extensive experience working and volunteering with children with speech and language delays. She has worked in homes, in classrooms, and within special needs educational settings.

Sandia has worked with a variety of populations including children with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and more.   She has provided support to children as young as 18 months through to seniors who have suffered from stroke or brain injury. She has gained experience completing various assessments to determine speech (sound production) and language (production of words/understanding of language) skills and is knowledgeable and thoughtful in translating those results into meaningful goals for her clients.

Sandia takes pride in providing effective, easy to implement strategies and intervention techniques to her families and clients. She enjoys working closely with families to provide them with the skills they need to tackle the communication issues they face.

Communication, in any of its forms, is a human right; Sandia strives to provide the best service to her families and clients so they can partake in this right to their fullest potential.
