A University of Calgary and later University of Alberta alumni, Tiffany Sutton joined the Enterprise4Good family in 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She is an authorizer through the Alberta Aids to Daily Living program, and also has experience and specialized training in pediatric feeding and swallowing, including the SOS Approach to Feeding. An experience working as a summer camp counsellor at Camp Bonaventure inspired Tiffany to specialize in pediatrics. She works directly with families to develop children’s fine motor, self-care (e.g. feeding, toileting, grooming, dressing), and self-regulation skills (e.g. sensory processing, emotional regulation).
Tiffany was drawn to Ability4Good because of its innovative approach to therapy and focus on family-centered practice. She is a self-proclaimed “kid at heart" and passionate about helping families using play-based interventions that are fun, meaningful and functional in order to foster their child’s development with home, school and community environments. Play is important to establishing a relationship with the child so he/she is comfortable and looks forward to each visit. Play is also essential to developing a child’s motor skills, enhancing their social skills and encouraging them to think.
She enjoys travelling, exploring new places, and spending time with her family and friends.
