Registered Disability Savings Plans (RDSP) Seminar
The Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) is a tax-deferred savings plan offered by the Government of Canada to help save for the long-term care and financial security of persons eligible for the disability tax credit (DTC). Come join us to discover more about RDSPs. The government designed this program to help the over 6 million Canadians living with a disability. The RDSP is also available for parents of a disabled child to save money for their child’s future. Here is a high-level list of the benefits of a RDSP:
• - Eligibility for government grants up to $3,500 annual and $70,000 lifetime
• - Tiered government matching rates up to 300%
• - Potential to carry forward unused grants up to $10,500 each year
Mitch Reynolds is hosting a seminar in conjunction with Kathleen Wise from Mackenzie Investments (the fund company that supports RDSP plans) to educate families on the benefits of this savings plan for those who are disabled. This seminar is free of cost and will be held on March 19th, 2020 @ 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Hotel Blackfoot.
